How much does it cost and what is included?
$99 Includes Training by a Paramedic and Certification thru the American Heart Association for 2 years.
The price is the same for all BLS courses!
Who should take the bls course?
Healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Example: Physicians, PA, RT, RN, CNA, EMT, Paramedic, Firefighters, and most healthcare professionals.
BLS Course Options:
Initial Provider Course:
For Students who are New, Renewing, or Expired
Renewal Course:
Student MUST have a CURRENT *AHA* BLS certification
Certifications are valid thru the end of the month the card was issued in.
Example: You completed the course on January 5, 2022; Your cert expires January 31, 2024. As of February 1, 2024 you now have to retake the entire course (Initial Provider or HeartCode Blended Learning). Unfortunately there are no exceptions for expired cards due to AHA policies.
BLS can be completed in 2 ways:
All formats include the same learning objectives and result in the same course completion card.
In-Person:
The entire course, test, and skills practice is completed in the classroom same-day.
Blended Learning aka HeartCode BLS:
Online course/videos, test, and e-book with 2 hour in-person skills check. Online course time varies based upon your knowledge.

I need BLS and First Aid - how do I register for both?
If you need BLS and First Aid, you’ll have the option to add the First Aid ONLINE COURSE with BLS registration for $69. Please add approximately 15 minutes to your skills check time (BLS & FA Skills = total of 2 hours and 15 minutes). If you prefer to complete First Aid in-person, it is a 4 hour course and you’ll register separately for it online under CPR/First Aid courses using code FA to drop the price to $69.
We also offer the AHA Bloodborne Pathogens online course.
I have test anxiety - which course do you recommend?
We can help you thru the process no matter which learning environment you choose!
With that said, a lot of our students prefer the Blended Learning/HeartCode online course.
