How much does it cost and what is included?
Price includes Training by a Paramedic and Certification thru AHA or HSI for 2 years.
The price is the same for In-Person and Blended Learning courses.

Who should take this course?
The General Public and most Professionals. USCG & OSHA Approved!
This is NOT a Healthcare Provider CPR course!!
If you are a Student in a Healthcare profession, and your Program states “you need a CPR class” there is a 99% chance you need the American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare level CPR) course - NOT the CPR/FA course for the General Public. Please contact us with any questions BEFORE you register.
CpR/First Aid can be completed in 2 ways:
All formats include the same learning objectives and result in the same course completion card.
With that said, some companies/professions require the complete in-person course and don’t allow Blended Learning.
In-Person:
The entire course and skills check are completed in the classroom same-day.
Blended Learning:
Online course/videos and e-book with 2 hour in-person skills check. Online course time varies based upon the modules you need.

I’m not allowed to do an online course - can I complete the Blended Learning option?
Yes, the Blended Learning option includes a 2 hour in-person skills check which satisfies most professional requirements.
Exception: Electricians, 24 Hour Fitness Trainers, and several other companies/professions/trades require the complete in-person course and do not accept the Blended Learning option for Certification.
is there a renewal option?
No, but you may consider completing the online course with a 2 hour in-person skills check.
Is there a written Exam?
Yes and No - it’s generally NOT a requirement for most people who are taking this course!
Yes - for students completing the USCG AMERHA-216 Certification.
No - 99.997% of students do not need to complete a written exam to earn certification. Your Employer or Agency should notify you ahead of time if an exam is required. If you find out afterwards, you can come back to the Training Center to complete it.
I need USCG Certification. Do you offer it?
Yes! Our AHA (American Heart Association) CPR/FA course satisfies the USCG requirement to earn the AMERHA-216 Certification. Please make sure you click the box for USCG when registering, and add approximately 30 minutes to your skills check time for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the required written exam. You must complete EVERY module in the HeartSaver Total CPR/FA course.
